Physical Accessibility:

Goldie Saloon is located in Hackney Downs. The nearest station is Hackney Downs, which is a 10-minute walk away. The nearest step-free station is Hackney Central, which is a 12-minute walk away.

The venue is on a cobbled street that has narrow, and occasionally uneven, pavements which may also be obstructed by parked vehicles at the neighbouring mechanic shops. The nearest dropped kerb is immediately outside the venue.

We cannot always guarantee that parking outside the venue will be available due to nature of the surrounding businesses. If you need us to keep a parking space clear we will try our best to do so, please get in touch with us ahead of your visit at hello@goldiesaloon.com and include your estimated arrival time.

During opening hours, the door to the venue is usually ajar but does not have an automatic opening mechanism. There is a further set of saloon doors between the main entrance and the bar. The venue is level access throughout with no steps. There are two self-contained gender-neutral toilets with basins. One is wheelchair-accessible with a rail and lowered basin.

The lighting is soft and low (and can usually be adjusted on request). Music levels vary depending on the events held at our venue, but is usually moderately loud (and in some cases can be adjusted on request).

We maintain a variety of seating options throughout our premises to accommodate guests with mobility aids or who may require extra space. Seating types include banquette seats, chairs, low stools, and bar stools. Our tables, chairs, and barstools are not affixed to the ground.

Service animals are welcome in our establishment, and we have water bowls and treats at the venue for dogs (please be aware that the venue is generally pet friendly, so non-service animals may also be present).

We provide alternative formats of menus and event information upon request, including large print or electronic formats.
